Adolescents’ and Secondary School Teachers’ Perception of Online Learning Under COVID-19 Pandemic

<p>The article presents the results of research project: "Education under COVID-19", implemented by Center for Interdisciplinary Research Contemporary Childhood in Moscow State University Psychology and Education. The was conducted from October 2020 till January 2021. main goal project to identify specific features adolescents’ secondary school teachers’ perception online learning pandemic. 141 adolescents 91 teachers different regions Russian Federation participated research. According data, despite facing certain challenges, majority regard either neutral, or positive light. Adolescents with high levels metacognitive skills were most efficient adapting learning. In contrast adolescents, assess negatively. authors paper consider opposing offline education as least strategy. They stress need overcoming dichotomy emphasize role child-adult interactions that can be organized face-to-face, distant hybrid formats.</p>
